Privacy Policy
AI Photocopy sends uploaded images to its application server to create previews and exports. This policy explains how those temporary files and optional site analytics are handled.
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Image processing and retention
When you upload an image, it is sent to the AI Photocopy application server. The server temporarily stores the uploaded file, processes your selected effects, and returns previews and finished downloads to you. We do not send uploaded image files to Google Analytics or a separate image-processing provider.
Each image session expires 30 minutes after upload. The temporary file is removed when the server next handles a request or shuts down cleanly; if no further requests arrive, deletion may occur later. An unexpected host failure may leave temporary files until the hosting environment clears them. We do not provide permanent image storage, user galleries, or backups. Exports are generated on request and returned to you, rather than kept in an account history.
Information used to run the service
The app does not require an account. It assigns a random temporary image ID for the editing session. The server keeps IP-based request timestamps in memory to limit excessive requests; this in-memory data is not a user profile. Our hosting provider may also create operational access or error logs, separate from the temporary image files.
Original image metadata is removed from displayed and exported images when the server re-encodes them. Please avoid uploading images you do not have permission to use.
Optional Google Analytics
With your permission, we load Google Analytics (measurement ID G-N04FQM5G89) to study use of the website, such as page visits and general device or browser information. Google Analytics can use first-party identifiers such as _ga cookies and can process approximate location derived from network information. We do not use this tag for advertising personalization, and the site does not send your uploaded image to Analytics as an event.
Before you accept Analytics, the Google tag is not loaded by our consent implementation. Choosing “Essential only” leaves Analytics disabled. You can change your choice through “Cookie choices” in the site footer. Google’s own data handling is described in its Privacy Policy.
Your choice and local storage
We save one necessary browser preference, ai-photocopy-analytics-consent, to remember whether you accepted Analytics or selected essential storage only. This preference stays in your browser until you change it or clear your browser storage. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Security and changes
We use reasonable technical limits on uploads and temporary processing, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the service changes; the date above shows the latest revision.
